This will not be a full hybrid event, but some content will be streamed for those not able to attend in person – please register for “Streamed Content” ticket to access any streamed content.

Registration deadline is Wednesday 13th September, however we can’t guarantee to support special dietary requirements after Wednesday the 6th September.

 

Location:

Postgraduate Teaching Centre, Cardiff University, Colum Drive, CF10 3EU.

The meeting will be the Postgraduate Teaching Centre 0.24/0.25 and 0.22/0.23

Co-located event:

On the Thursday 21st there will be a co-located event organised by Cardiff University, Dell and Nvidia “Making AI/GPU computing sustainable and accessible for researchers in higher education” – see https://app.tickettailor.com/events/hpcsig/987517 for details. This event includes a meal the evening of the 20th (after the HPC-SIG meeting) with costs to be covered by Dell/Nvidia for those staying for the second days event. Please confirm attendance in advance via the registration form for the Dell/Nvidia event so a suitable venue can be booked.

 

How to get there:

The Postgraduate Teaching Centre (PTC) is about a 25 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station (on the flat through the city centre).  

Taxis are available from the station for those who do not wish to walk.

Alternatively, get a train from Cardiff Central to Cathays Station which is next to the Student’s Union and only about 4-5 minutes’ walk from the PTC.  

There is also a chargeable car park on site which uses the RingoGo app for payments.
