This is the next instalment in the international series that provides a platform for discussion around new and emerging computing technologies and its applications. Previous years have seen a focus on technologies like GPUs, the Xeon Phi and FPGA’s, this year is expected to see more of this as well as an increase in content around quantum and energy efficient computing, as well as hot topics such as deep learning and AI.
The three day event will kick off with a day of workshops around topics like hands-on quantum computing, deep learning techniques on GPUs and understanding neuromorphic computing architectures. This will be followed by a 2-day technical programme comprised of a mixture of invited and submitted and reviewed talks.
There will be a trip to the famous Yorkshire Sculpture Park (https://ysp.org.uk/) as part of the conference, with a banquet held there at the end of the 2nd day.
