At the recent HPC-SIG we decided we needed an EasyBuild workshop. We will meet at the University of Birmingham for the day and discuss how it is deployed at different sites, discuss some of its history and future directions and discuss any difficulties attendees are having trying to deploy it.
Potential agenda:
1) EasyBuild introduction/history (an EasyBuild maintainer if possible)
2) How it’s done at Uni1
3) How it’s done at Uni2
4) How it’s done at Uni3
5) Questions and open discussion of common problems(Lunch)
6) Contributing back to the community (KH)
7) Workshop time where we help each other solve problems
