Cyber Threats and Security with Joe Pitt from Jisc.

Joe will be talking through the threats facing HPCs, picking up on some real world examples. Having set the scene he will work through key controls that need to be in place to reduce the risk of successful attacks.

Bio

Joe Pitt is a Senior Security Analyst in Jisc’s Cyber Threat Intelligence Team, responsible for collecting, analysing and using threat intelligence to protect our members and the Janet network, and to support our members to respond effectively to attacks. He has 8 years Cyber Security experience, covering design, oversight, incident response and threat intelligence.
