Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the inaugural UK conference of the HPC AI Advisory Council which is being held in Leicester on 16/17 September. Registration is free, and is now open at: http://hpcadvisorycouncil.com/events/2019/uk-conference/register.php

The HPC and AI Advisory Council is an international, “for community benefit” organization that collaborates with leading organizations around the world to extend knowledge and awareness of HPC and AI – the innovative research, techniques, tools and technologies that fuel economies, productivity and progress globally. Its membership includes both computing industry and end-user organisations (the full list of members is athttp://hpcadvisorycouncil.com/council_members.php).

Each year the Council helps facilitate and host three student competitions and five conferences in China, Europe, the US. Their website provides some additional information about their activities:

This is a great opportunity to highlight the work that we’ve all been doing to prepare for the UKRI e-Infrastructure and I would like to invite you all to attend. We still have some presentation slots available in the programme, so if you or your colleagues would like to contribute to the programme, please submit an abstract athttp://hpcadvisorycouncil.com/events/2019/uk-conference/papers.php.

Best wishes,
